Mpizani. The wax effigies of Pavlos
Vrellis are there in order to
reproduce for you big moments
from the important Greek History
and remind you some of the figures
that marked the place. The historical
battles of the Greeks, but also the
important glories that they knew
are impressed on their faces.
 
What is for sure is that you will remain with the mouth
open in front of these effigies. They are so lively that
you might not be able to believe that they are from wax
and perhaps some of you who are doubting spirits will
even attempt to pinch them in order to make sure.
Pavlos Vrellis has worked for many years under
unfavourable conditions in order to set up this
museum, but with his passion and taste he
eventually accomplished to leave everybody
speechless with the result of his work.
Therefore, it deserves your admiration as well!!
 
Opening Hours
10:00 to 16:00 in winter from 1/10 until 31/3 and
09:30 to 17:00 in summer from 1/4 until 30/9.
Entrance ticket :
6 euro standard, 5 euro for organized groups,
4 euro for pupils and students, 3 euro for people who have
many children, overage people & children 8-12 years old.
